Dundee FC today announced the return of Ray Farningham to the Club as Assistant Manager.
Having first joined the Club back in the early 90's, everyone at Dens is delighted to see him back in dark blue return. Ray has joined the Club from Montrose FC where he was Manager.
Club CEO Scot Gardiner said "From a personal point of view and along with the Board of Directors of the Club, we are particularly happy about Ray coming on board as Assistant Manager to Barry Smith. It is indicative of the Club taking another serious step forward in our plans for next season and bolsters the infrastructure of the playing side of the Club."
He continued "I would also like to thank Montrose FC for the courteous and professional way they conducted business with us and I wish them every success in the future."
Manager Barry Smith said "I am delighted to have Ray joining the coaching staff. Ray has great experience which will be invaluable to me in up and coming seasons. I would also like to thank Montrose FC for giving me the opportunity to speak to Ray in order to bring to Dundee.

I am delighted to be back at Dundee to Assist Barry who was my major reason for returning to Dens. Hopefully working together we can get Dundee FC back to the Premier League where we belong”
