Ryan Conroy and Jamie Reid are the latest players to commit to Dundee for the coming season
CEO Scot Gardiner said "Both players were very excited about the potential new investment and what that could mean for the Club. And Jamie has been told he will get his chance after showing up brilliantly at Stenhousemuir and Ryan was outstanding towards the end of the season. He seemed like he had a new lease of life."
Ryan joined Dundee in the summer of 2011 and has been a regular in the first team over the past two seasons. In 2011/12, his 11 goals helped the club to a 2nd place finish which was enough to earn Dundee promotion to the SPL thanks to Rangers demotion from the top division. Midfielder Ryan continued his goal scoring form in the SPL and netted 7 times in total last season, including the opening goal in the 1-1 draw away to Dundee United in March.
19 year old Jamie came through the youth ranks at Dens. The midfielder, marked his debut on the final day of the 2011/12 season with the winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Livingston at Dens. Last season, he featured on the opening match of the season as a subsitute against Peterhead in the League Cup. In January, he joined Stenhousemuir on loan and scored twice during his spell at Ochilview in 13 games.
