Dundee Football Club can confirm that Stuart Murphy has stepped down as Chairman and Director of the Club with immediate effect.
The Board met last night to discuss this, and other planning issues, and will make a full statement regarding those plans early next week after consultation with the DFCSS Board this weekend given that Stuart was a DFCSS fans representative and it is entirely their choice as to who they nominate as a Director in his place.
The Board and all at Dundee Football Club would like to wish Stuart every success in the future.
Stuart has also resigned his position as DFCSS Director.
Society Chairman Scott Glenday said, 'On behalf of the DFCSS Board and members, I would like to thank Stuart for his efforts and wish him well.
A statement will be issued once we have had the opportunity to meet as a group and discuss fully.
