St. Johnstone Preview

St. Johnstone Preview

Dundee make the short journey to Perth to take on St Johnstone in front of the BT Sport cameras at McDiarmid Park tonight.

Free-scoring St Johnstone are certainly the form team going into tonight’s encounter winning their last 5 games in all competitions but The Dee will take confidence from a well-earned victory against The Saints back in mid-August.

First half goals from James McPake and Kane Hemmings fired The Dee into 2-0 lead at half-time but Saints danger man Steven McLean pulled one back early in the second half to suggest a nervy finish to the match. The Dundee back line was assured enough, however, to see out he game with relative ease to ensure all 3 points stayed at Dens Park.

There are no fresh injury concerns for Paul Hartley ahead of the match which means the manager has a full squad to choose from.
