Ray Farningham was today announced as the Head of Youth Development at Dens Park. Ray starts work in his new position immediately and will be working particularly closely with Director of Football John Nelms in a move which has been planned for a number of months now.
While discussing his new role, Ray said “My passion for the club remains undimmed and anyone who knows me will realise that and the new role suits my love of developing talent for the club. I have been champing at the bit to get started and there is a real feeling that we are moving forward on every front at the club”.
John Nelms added “We are looking forward to working with Ray to help develop the best young talent in Scotland for Dundee FC. Ray is a credit to the organization and will use his vast knowledge to get the young players to reach their potential”.
Manager Paul Hartley hopes to appoint a new Assistant Manager in the very near future.
