Partick Preview

Dundee are on the road again this weekend as they look to bounce back from back to back defeats when they take on Partick Thistle on Saturday, kick off 3pm.

Paul Hartley welcomed captain Kevin Thomson back to training on Thursday. The trip to Glasgow might come just too soon for Paul McGowan who has been off for a few days with a bug.

Kyle Letheren came through the SPFL Development match with Kilmarnock on Tuesday night and is back in the squad. Dundee will be missing Gary Harkins through suspension after he was sent off for two yellow cards at Hamilton.

Manager Paul reflected on the previous few matches which have seen Dundee beaten 2-1 in both fixtures, saying, “I was pleased with the first half against Inverness but wasn’t pleased with second so it’s about a game and a half that we have not been at our best but we are going to find that throughout the season. We’ve been in every game that we have played so far, which is pleasing for us.”

On Partick, they convincingly won 4-0 up in Inverness last weekend and Paul said of them, “They had a really good result up in Inverness last week. It will be a tough game, they played very well here at start of the season.”
