O’Hara signs

Dundee Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Mark O’Hara from Kilmarnock.

Mark signs for the club on a two year deal.

20 year old Mark came off the bench against Stenhousemuir to make his debut for Kilmarnock at the age of 16 in 2012.

Shortly after, he made his first start the club in a memorable fixture as they beat Celtic 2-0 at Celtic Park, giving Killie their first win there since 1955.

Over the past four seasons, Mark has gone on to play just shy of 100 games for the Rugby Park club. Featuring 33 times for them last season.

In that period he has also represented Scotland at both the under 19 and under 21 level.

Manager Paul Hartley said of the signing, “He is a player that fits the bill perfectly. Mark is at the right age and is someone we think we can work with and develop.

“He is versatile and at a young age has played alot of games already. He can play right back but we want to develop him in the middle of the park.”

“He had a year left on his contract at Killie so we are delighted to secure his signing.”
