Hamilton preview

Dundee welcome league leaders Hamilton Accies to Dens this Saturday for the first meeting of the two promoted sides of the season.

The Dee pipped Accies to the league title last season but after coming through the play offs with a win on penalties against Hibernian in the final the New Douglas Park side have started the season superbly and sit top of the league after 10 games.

Dundee welcome back James McPake, and captain Kevin Thomson has come through another week of training after his return as a substitute last weekend. Paul McGinn left the field against Motherwell but is back in contention for the match with Hamilton.

The game will come too soon for Simon Ferry who has been out with a virus. The hunt for a goalkeeper also goes on as Kyle Letheren’s injury picked up in the warm up last weekend will see him missing for 6-8 weeks. Luka Tankulic and Peter MacDonald will also both miss out through injury.
