FOOD COLLECTION AT DUNDEE DERBY MATCH

Dundee Foodbank are pleased to announce a partnership with the sporting community!

On 21st September, there will be the first Dundee derby of the 2014/15 season. Dundee Foodbank will be in attendance to hold a food collection prior to kickoff, in order to continue our work with those in greatest need in the city.

In partnership with the Dundee FC charity team and management, we are encouraging all fans attending the derby to bring food donations – a can, a packet, a shopping bag full! We will be hosting 2 collection locations, one at either end of the Main Stand of Dens Park. Make sure you make your donation prior to trying to enter the ground!

Drop off point 1 is outside the club shop at the west end of the stand.

Drop off point 2 is at the east end of the Main Stand, at the entry to the concourse from which the Bob Shankly Stand is accessed.

If you are able to bring a donation, please make sure that it is unopened, in date and non-perishable (long life). Please, no fresh, chilled or frozen items – we don’t have the storage for these.

The lists below give an indications of the items we use – we are in greatest need of the items on list A, so while we will gratefully accept any of the items listed below, list A items will fill the most urgent gaps in our stock rooms!
