7 Scots visit Dens

Last week we welcomed representatives from the 7 SCOTS to Dens Park where gifts were exchanged.

Dundee F.C. presented a framed 3rd strip which includes the Black Watch logo and tartan which was worn against Ross County in late September. Striker Rory Loy scored twice that day and joined Managing Director John Nelms in presenting this.

In return we accepted a framed print of Soldiers on patrol in Iraq. The print now hangs proudly in the Club’s boardroom.

Individuals in the pic from left to right are:

Private Blair McKie; Lance Corporal Brian McGarrity; Lance Corporal Mike Burnage; Rory Loy DFC; DFC Managing Director; Lieutenant Colonel Piers Strudwick Commanding Officer; Warrant Officer Class 1 (Regimental Sergeant Major) Michael Fairweather; Major Gus Cameron Officer Commanding A Company; Corporal Billy Hutchison.

The unit title is 51st Highland 7th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland; Abbreviated; 7 SCOTS
