If true then that's a fantastic deal, the Dundee Stars actually play in the TOP level of the UK-Wide league, the big teams get many thousands of fans.

I went once and had a great time, better than a trip to Dens to be honest.

My wife and I are season ticket holders at Dens and go to watch the Stars a couple of times a month so a great saving for us - might even go to the Ashoka before a game for a curry and save even more. Thanks BoD.

Season ticket prices are shocking this year you can get a season ticket for Wigan cheaper than you can at Dens.

Can you still buy the 'flexi' season ticket, and, if so, what are the details?

Certainly would be if we kill the thread because you don't agree with the views of others.

Are we still running the flexi ticket offer next season, and, if so, could someone please provide the details?

I can get free tickets any time at Wigan as a kid's team manager; rarely go - would always pay whatever price it is at Dens, but think the board have been a bit underhand in increasing the age qualification from 60 to 65; not because I turn 60 this year, but because it is a blow to many of our fans (60 - 65) who have been going to Dens longer than any of the board members, and are a bit strapped for cash and dont deserve this kick in the pocket! Think again on this one please;

It's only a 102% increase Andy, don't see why anyone would be unhappy about that !!

I have tried to remain away from this post but no longer, we must count our chickens in all this debate, we have a very solid back room staff now, and a very industrious and genuine team of people both on and off the park we are in a reasonably better state than for many a long time and we have corporate governance through out , we have aspirations with in the fan base of course we do, but the only way to support this and place us back where we belong is to show the committment which will allow a good solid team on the park with some depth in the squad.

There also maybe changes within the league set up and Dundee must be around to take up that opportunity, it will be another a tough season, and we must get off to a very good start ,of that there is no doubt, but in bs we probably have a real manager for the future let's be there when he lifts that trophy at the end of the season.

The season tickets present value, and yes everybody will perhaps deliberate, before coughing up but you know it makes sense, I drive from fife to dens get my feet under the table at penman , meet my mates, no beer which is tough, but enjoy the crack and then head home with an average of a point a game , listen to
Traynor on the radio, a great day oot !

Hi Dite, may I ask you what the principle behind your decision is? IMO the club are trying to raise sufficient funds to hopefully get us into SPL and the price rise is to be expected in that case. I too, as a season ticket holder, am not happy about paying extra, especially as I wont benefit much from the add-ons (unless we get promoted and I'll happily take the roll back offer.)
I agree that the change of age in OAP tickets isn't ideal but existing season ticket holders are protected. As we are a fan led club, I hope that not many others follow your example or we really will be stuck where we are with little revenue.
Hope you reconsider.....

Through all the trials and tribulations the club has seen in the last 10 years, we still have a club to support and for that I am thankful, we as fans have ploughed a lot of money into the club, some their own time and money, we are now a fan owned club and makers of our own destiny.

I am maybe one of the lucky ones who can just about afford an adult & child Season Ticket, if this money goes to bring in a fresh face or help retain the services of another, so be it, BS has a budget in line with any other business and I for one am happy to contribute to this budget.

Barry is a young developing manager and has a good back-room team behind him, we should try and give him the best possible funding for the coming season.

Nobody is happy when prices rise, but that's the way it is, some will pay some won't and each will have a different reason for not paying i.e. unemployed, work commitments, holiday's, principle, not happy with the re-signings, new signings, communication, add-ons and so on, at the end of the day we all have the right to choose.

I have chosen.

If you are unhappy then don't buy a season ticket but not going at all? Isn't that a wee bit extreme?
