I completed the Dundee half marathon yesterday (wasn't daft enough or fit enough) to do the full marathon) and I would like to pass on my thanks to one of our clubs most inspirational supporters and a man who has appeared at Dens himself. Not playing of course but in many many ways a performance to be admired. I've never met him in person but at least twice on my way around the half yesterday he was in place in his chair giving lots of encouragement. It was so so much appreciated and gave me such a lift. As I've said above, inspirational.
To add, as I was in my Dundee top it was also great to hear plenty of other people, spectators, stewards, police, also giving a c'mon the Dees etc... Could only have been better playing for the team. In a derby. Winning 8-0..... |
