I see Paulo Sergio has turned down a new contract because of the vastly reduced wages on offer. Looks like Vladimir Romanov has totally lost interest in Hearts. Nobody else is going to take them on with the massive debt they owe to Romanov's bank so it looks like they are going to struggle for several seasons to come.
That's nine managers in seven years for Hearts since Romanov came in. He was sniffing around Dundee amongst other teams back then, and considering all that they've gone through over those seven years would you have preferred it if he had taken over Dundee or would you prefer the quiet, stable 7 years we've had since then?
Good on Romanov for sticking to his guns though, Scottish football simply cannot afford the wages and other emoluments dished out to football staff in recent years. Maybe we'll get back to the situation where footballers live on the same street as regular joes
Got to pull you up newportdee up on yer 'quiet 7 years' comment. the last 7 years have been anything but stable for us. the last 2 years have been torture. its only what's happened 'on' the park that ha kept us all sane, lets face it.
yes i'd have been happy, at least they won something

It was a tongue in cheek comment. I didn't think anyone would think the comment was serious!
