Just read of the death in tonight's Tele of former DFC Director Jim Strachan, who was also a long, long term fan, supporter, sponsor of the club.

For many, many years the Galloway Main stand hoarding plus several key suppliers all ploughed very decent sums into DFC.

RIP Mr Jim (James) Strachan!

Very sad to read of the news, my late grandad knew him quite well in his time at Dundee as did the family. Sincerest condolences to his family.

Very sad to hear the news of another good Dee passing to the High Stand.
Thanks for looking after me a few times when I was a teenager and sneaking me on the team bus a couple of times.
