A friend, aged 63, phone Dundee and was told season tickets for pensioners was now for 65 and over. Last season it was 60.
That's a fair hike for those aged 60-65 who paid £140 and will now be exepected to pay £297. Or was it perhaps no more than an error on the phone. |

| Hopefully it was an error. A bit to go until I'm 65 and I paid £147 for my ticket on Monday. No questions asked. |

Talk about moving the goalposts eh, I would have qualified in January.
George Osborne would have been proud of that move.
Ah well, have to get a job at B & Q now for five years, just to support yer team.

I'm not even close to 60, but that's extremely unfair to have guys go from adult to OAP prices when they turn 60, then tell them the following season that they are back up to full price again. |

| I have had an OAP season ticket for the past 3 years (missed the year I was 60 because of birth date) & as a female, am retired and on a pension. Am I really expected to pay full price this year, when I'll be 65 halfway through season? Some clarification needed please, as there's bound to be lots of others in the same position. |

| Just to clarify - no existing senior season ticket holder will be asked to pay adult price. The qualification for buying a senior season ticket is being aged 65 or over on 1st August 2012, or being an existing senior season ticket holder. |

| I thought for most things in the UK 65, and soon to be 67, was the aged for OAP/Senior rates so I was surprised that DFC were offering these rates for those aged 60-64. |

| Apart from the obvious financial reason fraserm, perhaps some input on why the age limit has been raised, and why there was no formal announcement. I think a bit more than the simple clarification of the new age threshold is the least we can expect. |

| Does seem odd that you can have a guy that is 60 with an O.A.P. ticket sitting in the stand beside a guy that is 64 that had to buy a full price ticket! I would agree that more clarity maybe with an announcment on the changes would have been the way to go. |

| I think that the 65& over that they have changed to is a disgrace, considering that ladies retire @ 60 & get pension etc, men retire @65 however in line with the equality law men are entitled to concessions once they hit 60 , so hopefully that yet again the board have not shot themselves in the foot. Far too many negative actions coming from the board? get your act together b4 yu start losing more supporters |

Thats discrimination, cant be correct surely?? Why would an existing season ticket holder aged 62 get a better price on someone who has never held a seaosn ticket aged 62? Everyone should be paying the same price, no matter whether they have held a season ticket or not. |

Having just had an official Government letter telling me that I don't get my state pension now until I'm 66, I find the debate here somewhat tiresome.
Loyalty is being rewarded as anyone between 60 and 65 who has been an OAP season ticket holder is being "rewarded" for that loyalty/support by not having to pay full price going forward. Why should someone who is between 60 and 64 and isn't an existing season ticket holder benefit from the price freeze? That's absurd logic.
I realise that if fans feel priced out of attending matches then the club's finances are badly hit but the Board has to make a balanced call. In my opinion, at a time when we are having to work until we are older and living longer, the concession of OAP season tickets at age 60 is an anachronism. I feel the same way about the bus pass and I'm someone who qualifies for that is little over 2 years time!

| The simple solution is to increase the age for OAP season tickets to 61 for season 2012-13, 62 for season 2013-14 and so on until it reaches 65 in season 2016-17. Then everyone would be treated the same whether they had previously bought a season ticket or not. |
