Since many of the topics and posts on here recently have been negative, id like to take this opportunity to lighten the mood a bit. What's the funniest thing you've ever seen at Dens Park. My favourite was when we played Rangers years ago, and a Rangers fan was in the Dundee end and must've jumped up when they scored. Needless to say there were many Dee fans not happy with this. As said Ranger fan was being escorted out of the stadium by police, one Dee fan (who was coming back from getting a pie and a tea) saw the animated Gers fan and proceeded to empty the contents of his tea all over the Teddy Bear's face. I couldn't stop laughing at this sight, but our fellow Dee ended up being led away together with his new 'mate' by Tayside's finest.

It would to be a tie between :

the Deewok "incident" during the last home game of last season against Partick (where he had to lock himself in the DJ box)

or

a few years ago, at half-time Deewok appeared carrying a blow-up referee which he carried on to the centre of the pitch, and proceeded to punch and kick it all over the pitch!

Dundee v St Mirren in the early eighties when Billy Thomson tried to stop an Ian Ferguson shot and ended up in the net along with the ball! Absolutely priceless! Fergie had the hardest shot I've ever seen!

1960s - match against Rangers who go one up via Jim Forrest goal. Dundee then proceed to put four past them. Last few minutes of the mkatch, Rangers get a corner at the Dens Road/Provost Road flag. While said corner is being taken, Hamilton turns his back on the play to conduct the choir on the terracing. We could hardly sing for laughing at the big beaming smile on Hammy's face.

Peter Millar being 'subbed' by a fan from the South Enclosure. Pretty sure it was a friendly or testimonial otherwise he might not have taken it so well.

I'm sure there one in recent years where someone was taking a corner and kicked the flag out of the ground instead. How he managed that I don't know.

Being 5-1 up against Celtic and then Danny Mcgrain blasts a penalty over the bar or was it off the bar? Either way, that was funny.

Then the time which wasn't funny for a few seconds but turned out okay was when a wee enthusiastic ball girl in front of the South Enclousure, running backwards to catch the ball, hit the wall and tumbled backwards and disappeared. There was a gasp and then she pounced up with the ball held triumphantly in her hands to a huge cheer and a laugh.

A New Year's Day match v Aberdeen and a streaker ran on to the park in absolutely baltic weather. At first I thought he had a beige coloured suit on.

Anytime beating United, Celtic and Rangers.

Deewok's take on Charlie Miller with a pillow stuffed up his jersey, scoffing pies & pints. Hilarious and give him his due Charlie took no offence and had a laugh. Is it just me or has Deewok's antics been toned down recently? Ramp it up next season we all need a laugh!

PS what are other posters favourite Deewok moments?

The Bobby Glennie replacing his ripped shorts moment in front of the Celtic Fans in the stand enclosure was a belter!Today he would have been booked for "baring all"The Henry Smith fluffed clearance in the cup was a fave too.

Ian Ferguson of Raith Rovers through on goal against Tam Carson,Fergie shoots past keeper although Tam gets a hand on the ball ,ball spins behind him heading towards the net ,as Ferguson runs away to celebrate, the ball stops in a puddle on the line big Tam turns around and realizes that the ball hasn't crossed the line picks the ball up. All time classic for me.

That was an absolute belter, in the cup tie that had nearly everything.

Didn't he also miss a penalty in the shoot out?

Can't remember the opposition but I'm sure we went on to win the game otherwise I wouldn't have found it so funny, but Jocky Scott hitting the post from no more than 12 inches from the goal at the Provie Road end was both hilarious and unbelievable at the same time.

There was a game against Aberdeen where Deewok booted a plastic sheep all over the pitch.

Don't remember this but, if it happened, must be the only time Vince tackled anyone.
