| The only pre season games confirmed by the club are at home to Bristol City and now Dundee United. |

| I can see this game being very popular, due to the length of time since we played them, however it will be a friendly. There is no amount of pretend hype that can turn a pre season friendly into a worthwhile boast. |

| We've also still got our £16 tickets for the Dec 2010 game that never took place. Will we be able to use them and get £4 refund which we could use to buy a packet of crisps from Lindleys? |

And I'm sure the good lady would understand! Buy her a ticket as a pre-nuptial treat! |

| Whilst the arrangement of the gate money going to both sides youth set up is admirable, I find the actual game a bit of a hollow derby. Any friendly between the two teams is not the same as a fully competitive game. Not sure I will be going but if I can, I probably will. |

any friendly is thus 'hollow' - we have to warm up against someone...why not United? little expense for the clubs and a chance of much-needed cash at the gate. Is anyone ever happy? |

| Andersong, I realise that we need to warm up against teams in pre season but after the last derby friendly or lack of, it doesn't exactly fill me with excitement. Point being I would much rather face United in the SPL. Atmosphere is much better then and crowd will be more. Wouldn't think there'll be much more than 5500 at Dens for the friendly. Good practice for the new season ahead but doubt both sides will be taking it seriously as they would in SPL and for me, that's half the fun taken away. I did say however its good that both teams youth set up will benefit from the gate money, that is a positive thing. I am happy, not very often I will say something negative about Dundee. Just stating an opinion. |

| I don`t often disagree with you Grant, but unless they play with a tennis ball and wear ice skates, I won`t be going to a game trying to fool the fans into thinking that bragging rights are at stake. |
