| Shocking performance. Barry stated that players are playing for new contracts. Well on that heartless performance they all must want their P45's. I am a season ticket holder, but don't know if I can summon up the desire to go back to dens for the last game. Sorry Barry but if your team can't be bothered to give a performance, you cannot expect a support to turn up. |

I will be there for the last home game with Livi but there appears to be a distinct atmosphere of 'season over' around the place.

I will be in Dundee for the last home game of the season but after today's performance I am not sure if it is worth my while going to the game. With the possibilty of Rangers being demoted to SFL Division 3 it is imperative that we finish second in the league. However even if we gain promotion to the SPL we will not last long there with performances like today's. With all today's team with the exception of Leighton McIntosh out of contract at the end of this season, you would think that the players would be "bursting a gut" today to encourage the manager to give them a new contract for next season. |

| A very poor performance today. Too many players have put the tools away. A clearout beckons. |

| Who would buy a season ticket to watch that rubbish? Who would pay at the gate either with the prospect on offer? Change needed urgently |

| Shocking performsnce, you would never think that contracts were being played for whether it be for us or another team. Worse performance I have seen in a long time, there was no positives about today, left dens even worried about next season already. It was like we didnt have a clue what to do next |

Very poor today needs to be a rethink for next year from the starting eleven today I would assume only six to seven players would be worth keeping, I will not name names because I'm sure most people will agree , all in all we have had a decent run this year but I thought today the fans were short changed and also Barry,.
Partick were worth the win to be honest and if but for Rab we could have lost 6 , that is how bad the defence and midfield were! |

Our 6th home defeat to a team that had only won 4 times away all season, our second 0-3 defeat in a row and our goalie was man of the match! A poor display lacking guile and passion and we give away goals so easily it is scary. Far too much tippy tappy football with no creativity, drive or urgency. Was hopeful of a strong finish to the season but it's becoming more of a whimper. Really struggling to list any players that had a good game today and it's hard to find any positives from the last few games. |

| This thread says it all really, gutted at the performance, the strikers were woeful and midfield missing, and to cap it all Barry took off a striker and replaced him with the ineffectual Benedictus who slotted in nowhere leaving McIntosh (who had had a howler) on his own up front who in my ever humble opinion is nowhere near ready for 1st team football. What do you think the crowd will be in the final home game..... season ticket now binned! bet this don't pass the sensors, sorry I meant the admin boys!!!!! ...... |

Hyde was injured and was taken off after a lengthy spell down receiving treatment. Riley moved into the middle to support McIntosh. Irvine moved forward to right midfield. Benedictus came on to play right back. The changes were obviously forced by Hyde's injury because there wasn't a striker available to play on the bench. |

Never in my life have i walked out of dens on 70 mins before but i did along with a good few others and the score was only 1-0 then to be honest we could have played all day and not scored, worst performance i can recall for many a year. I will be at the last home game just hope the players turn up. |

these guys better be switched back on next week as they will be facing an Ayr team taking no prisoners as they fight to stay up. There will be no end of season atmosphere there thats for sure.

YES! we could all see Hyde was injured and had to go off and Riley moved into the midfield but he looked more like a striker having more shots on goal (2) than anybody else! (breath of fresh air) The point I was making was according to Barry was all the players are playing for contracts whether it be for Dundee or moving onto other teams and with the exception of a few it looked like end of season stuff to me. Looking around the stadium about 15 minutes before the game ended it would be hard to disagree. The stadium started to empty after about 15 minutes of the second half...... says it all really. Did anyone else see Weston giving Benedictus pelters? but Douglas's body language told the true story, he must be gutted! |

Totally agree with dm post you cannot condone anything about that performance today from people who play football for a living,
Riley had more shots at goal in the time he was on than our complete forward line

Yesterday was a shocking performance, no doubt about that. But I'd far rather we got that in a game the means nothing at the end of a season than at the start.
In my opinion we never recovered from the loss of Gavin Rae and Nicky Riley in January - we simply never posed teams enough problems. The spell in Jan / Feb when we had 6 draws in 7 games (or thereabouts) effectively killed off the season. Who knows, however, how things might have panned out had Ryan Conroy taken the penalty against Killie in the cup.....? |
