I just want a simple question answered, not to start a great debate. I'll check it out on Saturday if it's too controversial for this forum. ;-)

I think they are still on sale, last game I was starving, and sure the pie was 1.50, which was to be the price of the dundee one, so I am assuming that was one of them

Andersong. Should we not be attempting to promote a more healthy lifestyle?

I'd like to know why hospitality don't have to eat the same crap pies as we get? or for that matter why our pies are not supplied by Scott brothers. Great to see the great peh debate back for the fifth time this season... GROAN!

This will go on and on until someone within who gave the contract for the cateering at Dens either listens to the fans and gets rid or the fans just stop buying over priced food and drink. Until then we will have to put up with these poor pies, burgers and drinks.

There were clearly some parents at the match, who had never been to dens before. I presume they were from the Kinross kids team and it was amusing hal time entertainment to watch them dissecting their pies etc looking for edible bits. The football was good too and the Dee young lads pumped them.

Do we think Dens catering is especially bad? I just ask because, having visited dozens on dozens of football ground all across the UK (and a few in other European countries) the standard of catering, IMO, is usually moderate to poor.

I took a 15 year old son of a good friend of ours to a day out at Dens as a treat as he had never been to a football match in his life, at half time bought him a cheeseburger, he somewhat embarrassingly tried to hide it under his seat when I wasn't looking, but I re-assured him most people do that. I don't buy the hot fare on offer anymore, hav'nt done so for a long time now and if it wasn't for the fact that I take my daughter to every match wouldn't buy anything from the kiosk at all. £2.90 for a small Ribena and a packet of crisps = rip off

Go to a shop before the game that's what I do. It costs me £15 - £20 in fuel for the roundtrip to a home game so I choose not to purchase food at the game but I do have a bovril as is tradition.

Is there anyone that can tell us when the contract runs out with this Lindleys and are they reading these posts and taking note about how bad the food and drink is and how expensive aswell.
Would be really good to know because this goes on every season and every season we are still having to put up with it all???????

I'm afraid we are stuck with it as the Lindley catering contract lasts until 31st May 2015....... unless?

I, as have better men before me tried to get change, I was even invited onto a telephone conference call with Lindleys, DFC and a member of the Fife Dark Blues. Lindleys said all the right things and even brought in a different pie, but not much changed of improved. I have now given up buying anything from the kiosks.

If anyone would care to complain (not many did before) hence the subject coming up way too often, the email for Lindleys is

enquiries@thelindleygroup.com.

Jim Thomson also takes a serious interest in your complaints, might be an idea to get in touch with him.

DO NOTHING AND EVERYTHING REMAINS THE SAME!! Contracts can be ripped up if the company is not performing well - this one ain't!!
