Ross County match called off tonight, this could help us as they have a bit of a backlog of fixtures to be played!

they've hit a sticky patch like ourselves, it's the teams just behind us now that we need to worry about as well. It's getting tasty in there.

Ross County can only throw it away now. Even if they lose a few games they still look strong favourites for the title.

yes they can and hopefully the Dee will be right behind them, if they do, we will require the desire to Win and that has to come from the fans as well, which hopefully connects to the players on the pitch, no half measures on Saturday,

Have faith in the squad we have. Ross County will drop points during the backlog (and on Saturday)of that I am quite sure. It only takes one defeat to shake confidence and if we can win on Saturday, County might get that wee bit nervous. Still a long way to go in this season.

Falkirk are still around and above us, it isn't just between County and us. It's also nothing to do with faith, it's about the team winning games which hasn't been happening lately.

Dundee play County twice and so do Falkirk, that is where promotion will be won and lost, all 3 teams will continue to drop points but these games will ultimatly decide promotion

Agreed - one scenario is that of the 3 games in hand a win and two draws puts them 10 ahead. If we beat them home and away - which we would need to do to go up - that's just 4 points to claw back - or a draw and a loss to Falkirk.
History is littered with teams who have frozen in the headlights (including the Dees in April 2005)
I know its ifs and ands etc but I haven't written us off yet.

RC have a bigger, more evenly balanced squad than we do. All season they have defended better and scored more freely than we have. Blind faith is great but it rarely wins you promotion. Given the players we have available I think a draw is the best we can hope for on Saturday. RC can only throw promotion away.

The sending off at Dingwall changed a game that I am confident Dundee were going to win. County weren't looking confident until that happened. If we get right into them from kick off and get an early goal then you never know. It isn't Celtic we're playing!

Hopefully Ross County will bring a good size away support to the game on Saturday given their strong title winning position,(please note I'm not giving up on Dundee's chances either) and DFC will benefit for a change. Just hoping mind, not expecting.

Indications are that we will be able to comfortably house the Staggies travelling support in the away dressing room shower cubicle (I dont suppose it has altered since the Football Aid game in 2002!) |

According to the Ross County FC website there is still a limited number of seats available on the Black Isle Supporters Club bus to Dundee tomorrow (25th). Therefore they should be easily accomodated in the Main Stand.

Think there might be more Dee's than Staggies on the A9 tomorrow. Probably more dead deer than Staggies on the road down! Me and the HDBs Cahirman, Mark Kerr, heading off at 8am for the Supporters Club's meeting at 11am. Last Chance Saloon tomorrow!

Isn't there something morally wrong about a club that can't raise a bus-load of supporters for away games sitting top of the league? |

The important point is that they are top of the league and we are not. If they can do that on a limited fan base I say well done to them. Sometimes I get so fed up hearing us speak about our great fans and belittling other teams with less supporters. Sounds like at times some Celtic & Rangers supporters belittling the rest of Scottish football because we cant match there support or influence.

No because they're top of the league because of results on the park. |
