A pint or nippysweet of your choice for the first correct answers to these three.

1) What is the link between one of the Argentinean signings during the Bonetti era and the dodgy referee in the 1963 5-1 defeat in the San Siro?

2) Who scored a hat trick in the 5-1 demolition of Man U in a 1956 friendly at Dens; by the way, this was Bobby Charlton's first team debut.

3)On a more general note; list the top 5 European Leagues this season in terms of average attendances.

Couldn't be easier!

I think that the Championship has a higher average attendance than the French Ligue 1. I'm pretty sure that the Bundesliga has the highest average, followed by the Premiership, La Liga & Serie A.

I admit, question 3 was a toughie - but there is nobody that close yet. Clue; out of the top five, one country has two leagues included, although Spike isn't that far off!

Given DBD's little prompt maybe it's the German 2nd Division, as with Colchester in the Chamionship the 6000 or so capacity of Layer Road might hold the CCC back in terms of overall average.

I'll give it another go to get it right:

Bundesliga, Premiership, Serie A, La Liga, Championship.

I'm pretty sure 1, 2 &5 are right, not sure about 3&4!!

Question 3 - Scottish League is top, because our attendances are decidedly average . . . or 1 Bundesliga, 2 Premiership, 3 La Liga, 4 Serie A and 5 Whatever the French First Division is called.

I think that France is above Serie A so it will be the 5 top level leagues in the following countries

Germany, England, Spain, France and Italy.

Although how big are the stadiums in Russia!!

I was at a third division game with 600 away fans in a 1600 crowd a couple of weeks ago, sadly no dog though.
