Just downloaded and started playing the Gold Demo... It's looking good, too. Bizarrely got a slew of Premiership teams (including Liverpool & Arsenal) as Pre-Season friendly opponents...
Got soundly thrashed each time, but they were all sold out and at home, so nice little earners...
Good start to the new season - signed Steve McMenamin on a free, and picked up a couple of good wing backs, whose names escape me - one was from Morton reserves, and the other was a Swiss bloke who was unattached.
All in all it's looking good - the real thing's out in about 3 weeks. |

21st of October (First time I can remember seeing them bringing a release date forward!)
And nope, Smithy is still a "DC"!
You can do quite a lot of new stuff - including half & full time team talks and quick "yelling at your captain from the sideline sort of tactical changes.
Only 15 days to go...

| its ace play it in the sitting room and it really does feel the real deal! interactive is a laugh and also has real quality to the game just a pity theres no DUNDEE!!! |

| got it the day it came out think it quality got the dees promoted a few quality signing (zura gav rae etc) new deal until 2007 finished 9th in league 1st season scottish cup final lost 1-0 2 rangers ... next years my year :D europe here we come!! :D |

Got it only played on season got promoted on last day very narrowly.
Have a horribley small transfer budget-£0..
Bought loads of out of contract players fan think i'm mad aint started spl season yet...
If you go dundee dearch for chris templeman he's cheap and pretty good. |

Got a new CM a while ago (our last in the SPL) and nearing the end of the season with DFC sitting 4th with That Lot sitting bottom...a point off Livvy who are 7 adrift of Dunfermline :D Looks like your mate did a pretty sound job ;) |

What do you mean there is no Dundee, They are in the first Div, i won the league in my first season, then got a top 6 finish in the spl the season after, but done a JD and took thew club to relegation thereafter and was sacked!

I got Chris Brown (Sunderland), Striker, who is worth £4.4million on loan.
He banged in 12 goals in 15 games for me, got me promoted to the Premier, I managed to get him on loan again and he has started well again, his favourite club is now Dundee, and he knocked back 15 other clubs to come back to me on loan!
If only in real life.... |

i ended up at kilmarnock for some reason and bought tam mcmanus for 100k. he scored 29 goals in 31 appearences. why cant he do it for us?

I'm not sure about such a game.
I'm 37, don't play games much and the last footie game I had was the one with Martin O'Neill on the front. I played as Dundee and we got stuffed on every outing and the club went bust.
One - what was I doing wrong?
two - should I even contemplate buying another game?
three - should I stick to ludo and scrabble? |

Just finished my first season with the Dees. Won the 1st Division and beat the Rangers on penalties in the final. I run the Norwegian and Swedish leagues as well as Scotland and England as they provide a good source of cheap players.
Managed to offload a few first team players for good money and also buy in cheap (but better) replacements.
Out went
Madaschi 75k to Gretna
C. McDonald 50k to Gretna
Anderson 40k to Livingston
then in the Jan window I sold
Robertson for 500k to Leicester
Robb for 450k to Charlton
McManus 300k to Millwall (he did bag 12 goals in 22 games beofre he went)
Robertson 500k to Leicseter
In came
Speroni for 60k (during Jan window),
McParland D/WB L(Celtic) 6k,
Albertini DM(Free, add him to shortlist and wait until September to offer contract),
Kalenga DM (Rangers) 2k,
Karlefjard M C (Orgryte during January window) 85k,
Deividas Cesnauskis AM R (Hearts)28k,
Fox M C (Caley Jan window) 40k,
Hoiland ST (Bryne, Jan window, 9 goals and 9 assists in 16 starts for the 16 year old) 160k

| I won the 1st division by a point in my first season then finished 3rd in the spl in my second.Midway through my 3rd season but my team started to play badly then i got offered the celtic job so i just took that.I did have some good quility players like Wallwork,Faye,Sivok,Snodgrass(42 goals in 41 games),Andy O'Brian,Sean Davis,Pennant,Valdes and Zurab. |
