What a great gesture by the club to have Wullie's name on the back of the players' shirts for the Raith game.
I didn't know Wullie personally, but spoke to him a couple of times over the many years supporting the Dee.
He was what a true football supporter was all about, supporting the team through thick and thin (a lot more thin than thick sadly).
Congratulations must also go to the shirt sponsors and the SFL to allow this historical event to take place. |

It is extremely unfortunate that the SFL website has a story to highlight the fact that Dundee are honouring Wullie tomorrow, but the headline for the story is "Dundee to Honour McKenzie".
I have emailed them to correct the inaccuracy. |
