I don't mind the new strips. The home one is not my favourite of all time but it's okay.

What I would have loved is to play the full season in the Blue retro kit that puma made us to remember that famous season. And the new white away kit looks great. Would have been great to have a blend.

Have Kilmac extended their sponsorship or is this the last year of present deal?

As I am past the "jersey wearing " stage....due to advancing age and years I am still happy to see the new strip being promoted by two guys who will be wearing the club colours next season.

May I suggest at this early date that, after we have gained promotion this coming season , that we adopt the special jersey that was worn by the team recently versus Ayr United at Somerset.....quite simply the best Dundee strip.

Orders now being taken!!!!!!!!!!????????

...you will see that the topic was not created for everyone to gush about how fantastic the new strip is. People were asked for their thoughts. As someone has rightly said, new strips are never, ever going to please everyone as everyone has different tastes and ideas of what our strip should look like.

Saying you don't like something is not the same as finding something to moan about.

People always find something to moan about! Ive seen alot of worse strips than these out there over the years. If you dont like them then dont buy them. The seasons not even close to starting and the I agree with big g the dee, aslong as the Dundee badge is on it thats fine with me..........
cab07 Posted - 05 May 2012 : 22:24:30
no thought gone in here, both the same apart from the v-neck on the away shirt, the old style sampdoria style was far better, puma shirts are a better quality than we have had before, however the styles are a poor selection for the money you have to pay for them ,come on dundee give the fans something better than this.
big g the dee Posted - 05 May 2012 : 21:20:26
As long as the Dundee badge is on a red, white and dark blue it looks fantastic t me tayportdee...... but I draw the line wi anything tangerine, never!!!!;-)
DFC 4E4 Posted - 05 May 2012 : 21:08:41
I like both of them

All this Sampdoria stuff is doin my head in - "Forza Genoa" Formed in 1893 with the nattiest Dark Blue and Red kit of all!
Bob Laird Posted - 05 May 2012 : 17:55:36
The strips will probably look ok from a distance on the players.

The home strip in my opinion would be improved if the red and white stripes were reversed. The white stripe next to the white collar trim just doesn't look the right balance. Breaking it up with the red stripe on top would have been easier on the eye.

Also if the stripes were slightly narrower it would have been an improvement. The away top in my opinion looks ok, again balance is better as no colour trim on the V collar.

I've seen worse and lets face it no one will really care what the strip looks like as long as who's wearing it is playing his heart out every week and giving us something to shout about.

A case of you can't please all the people all the time, I would swap the shorts Dark home strip and all white away, but was there not a study on colours and players finding passes, I think yellow was the best colour, could be wrong. What happened to the fans getting input, from the responses the Sampdoria kit would get the thumbs up. Strip is not the most important part it is the claibre of the person wearing it and we need committed winners.

Asics were the makers of The Samp style strip- i still have the away one(Kellys Copiers) somewhere bought out of the sports shop in the old concrete overgate where "Next" is now!

If dundee produced a tangerine strip, big g the dee would love it all the same.
