Posted - 29 June 2011 : 21:43:09 I've just had an idea! Why don't Dundee video Home and Away games and show them live on DFCTV. I don't know if you would put it in the DFCTV package or on a pay-per-match basis. |

Posted - 18 July 2011 : 10:31:28 Since I posted on July 8th. there has been no clarification from DFC TV as to our position ? Are Falkirk once again the only first division club to offer live streaming to overseas fans ? Surely an opportunity missed. |

Posted - 09 July 2011 : 21:54:38 I have just checked Falkirk FC's website and they are still advertising live home video coverage. It is available to Premium subscribers who pay £11.99 per month £119 per year and on a "pay as you view" to overseas subscribers at £7.99 per game. A standard subscription to see recorded highlights etc costs £4.99 per £45 per year. |

Posted - 08 July 2011 : 16:12:50 Surely DFCTV have a strong case in requesting permission to emulate Falkirk in the forthcoming season 2011-12. If Falkirk are allowed to continue then other clubs must be afforded the same facility. Now is the time to seek approval. There is no doubt that this could be a money earner and be a must for overseas Dee fans. I would be interested in the club's take on the matter. |

Posted - 08 July 2011 : 15:56:02 No problem. I also thought it was a good idea however the "powers that be" in the SFL are still living in the dark ages. |

Posted - 04 July 2011 : 16:17:53 dundeefc2. This subject has already been discussed on the forum under the heading "Dundee FC games live on DFCTV" starting on 20th March 2011. The reason that it cannot be done is because the SFL will not allow it. Falkirk were allowed to sell live matches last season as a one off because they had been relegated from the SPL. |

Posted - 04 July 2011 : 16:07:37 Falkirk were offering Dundee fans the opportunity last season to watch the Falkirk v Dundee game online for a one off fee on £7.99. At no time did they mention that the Dundee had to live outside the UK and Ireland. Perhaps some other members of the forum can confirm this. |

Falkirk were also allowed to do it because their stream was only available to those outside UK and Ireland |
