Sponsors' shout was McKeown, which was fair enough, as the keeper and back four did well, but I'm going for the nostalgia vote - Neil McCann!

Im in a bit of dilema regarding man of the match awards these days, I think the whole team deserve a mention every week, everyone of the lads has been excelling themselves since this incredible run started and I personally feel no-one should be singled out they are all heroes.
P.S its just my opinion and dont get me wrong I do like reading other fellow Dees thoughts and how they see things..

Trialist. No further explanation needed.

Fozzy. Very, very important to us. Gives width, holds the ball well, can run at defences, and wins everything in the air.

McKeown easily our best player for me, an absolute tower of strength and never put a foot wrong. Honourable mentions to Fozzy and Higgy, but really this was a team effort.

Harkins was playing out of position for a lot of the match but he scored a fantastic free kick.
He has put everything in to the team this year and is a deserved captain.

The back 4 were just superb today, especially McKeown, he had loads of saving blocks and interceptions.

...but today its McCann for me, he came off the bench and scored a superb goal. In the Derry it looked like the ball was going over for a few seconds but when we saw the ball hit the back of the net the place erupted.

I felt Fozzy had one of his quietist games for a while. I have been critical of McKeown in the past but thought he showed real character yesterday. However McCann has to be in contention purely for romantic reason and the reaction that he caused in the derry.

Nicky Riley. Showed yesterday just why we miss him when he is unavailable.

Sorry but for me it has to be Fozzy.Terrorised the defence again, crunching tackles, went back for more when gettin booted all over the park, hardly lost a headed challenge and has performed like this for several months now.

Great team performance yet again, but for me the stand out was the most improved player at Dens this year. Stephen O'Donnell
